We met after church on January 29th to review are activities and accomplishments for 2016. Bob Moody, outgoing Senior Warden, gave his report. Then Betsy Shelley, Treasurer, led a review of the 2016 Income and Expenses and then presented the 2017 budget for discusssion and acceptance. The nominating committee presented the slate for 2017 and a new Vestry was voted in.
For a little fun amid all the serious business, our rector, Rebekah Hatch showed us how to apply temporary tattoos.
At our festival eucharist for Christmas, our young people brought forward the creche figures for Mary, Joseph, the ChristChild, shepherds and the wise men. The the rest of the congregation brought forward a star upon which was written their hopes and prayers.
We ended with Silent Night sung by candlelight.
